AVOCADO FACE MASK

One of the simplest natural face mask recipes to make, as it only has one ingredient.

Nourishing for all skin types especially for mature, wrinkled and dry skin.

Ingredients

One very ripe, fresh avocado

Instructions

1. Peel avocado, remove stone. Chop up the avocado and place in a small glass bowl.

2. Mash the avocado to a creamy pulp, using a fork, leaving no lumps.

3. Apply to clean face immediately, relax for ten minutes.

4. Rinse with warm water, pat dry. Apply toner and moisturizer.

Comments

If you haven't used the entire avocado for your natural face mask, eat it! Don't let it go to waste. Add tomato, onion and hot pepper for a great guacamole.


ALMOND HONEY FACE MASK

Although this mask is very sticky, and a little more challenging to get off it's well worth it!

Moisturizing for all skin types, particularly good for mature, sensitive, or dry skin.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon honey

1 tablespoon ground almonds

Enough warm water to mix to a spreadable paste

Instructions

1. Warm the honey in a small bowl immersed in hot water until it becomes liquid.

2. Place the ground almonds in another small bowl. Add the melted honey and mix well, adding a little warm water to achieve a spreadable texture.

3. Immediately apply the mask to a clean face and relax for ten to fifteen minutes.

4. Rinse with warm water, pat dry. Apply toner and moisturizer.


YOGURT OATMEAL FACE MASK

This all purpose natural face mask is both cleansing and rejuvenating for all skin types. If you are not sure which one of these natural face mask recipes to try first, choose this one.

Yogurt is a skin softener and it has a mild bleaching action that helps to dispel skin blemishes.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon finely ground oatmeal

1 tablespoon yogurt

1 teaspoon honey

Instructions

1. Place the oatmeal in a bowl. Add the yogurt and mix to achieve a spreadable texture.

2. Warm the honey in a glass bowl. Pour into the yogurt and oatmeal mixture, blend thoroughly.

3. Immediately apply the mask to a clean face and relax for ten to fifteen minutes.

4. Rinse with warm water, pat dry. Apply toner and moisturizer.


GREEN CLAY MASK

This purifying mask draws out excess oil, toxins and dirt from deep down in the skin and is best suited for oily skin.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon apricot kernel oil

1 tablespoon green clay

Enough warm water to mix to a spreadable paste

Instructions

1. Place the green clay in a small bowl. Add the apricot oil and stir. Adding enough warm water to achieve a spreadable paste.

2. Immediately apply the mask to a clean face and rest for ten to fifteen minutes. As the water evaporates, you will feel the mask tightening.

3. Rinse with warm water, pat dry. Apply toner and moisturizer.
